the plain soil resurfaces
the city, once an island on the coastal plain, now covers the entire expanse of the dunes, and rainwater no longer permeates the ground. the square forms a new ground of eight concave circles, for biofiltering ponds and gathering. the soil resurfaces, discolsing the dunes that are at the foundation of the city, the plain.
